Friends of Little Neck Bay

The DMEA is part of a loose consortium of professional and community based organizations united in the stewardship of Little Neck Bay. Our collective advocacy areas focus on water quality, watershed management, and habitat restoration concerns.

Alongside Udalls Cove Preservation Committee, Save the Sound, Alley Pond Environmental Center, Friends of Alley Pond Park, New York City Parks Department, SWIM Coalition, and the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Queens College, CUNY, the Friends of Little Neck Bay aims to inform, advocate, develop and implement efforts to improve the coastal health of the western edge of the Long Island Sound.
